FAST PROFILE MEASURINGThe Voortman V808 robot thermal cutting machine is equipped the versatile, fast and accurate Panasonic TL-1800G3 coping robotic. To measure exact profile dimensions, the torch nozzle is equipped with a measuring sensor. To ensure the best possible result, the robot compensates for any difference between the actual measured dimensions and the theoretical dimensions during the cutting process. The coping robot measures only the sides of the profile to save time.

Our robotic coping can cut seismic structural connection (like slotted Web and "dogbone" cuts), rat holes or copes at either end of a product, holes of any size and shape as well block-outs, welding preparations, bevels and markings on all sides.

We will work closely with you to develop a solution that suits your needs. This could include implementation in an existing production line, outside loading, and roller conveyors. The machine housing contains the entire roller-feed measurement system. This allows for complete flexibility in planning and expansion of your workshop. Start with a simple layout, and then expand the machine with more automated logistics. You can also add additional machines later as your business grows. Rat holes and seismic structural design connections (jayallan/dog bone connections), copes near the trail end of a products, blockouts, holes in all shapes and sizes, weld preparations, marking on each side and many other things! Voortman’s V808 has the best versatility on the market, as it can process all sides of the material with just one robot. The software does not require any programming.

The V808 roller-feed measurement and clamping system locks profiles and keeps them in the same exact place throughout processing. The fully automated measuring roller feed system saves time and money by not requiring a pusher or gripper before returning home to load the next piece. Voortman’s roller feed system is fully automated within a standard range for profile processing. Voortman’s automated in-feed crossing transports provide enough stability and support so that beams of up to 15.000kg (33,000 lbs) can be properly positioned and processed.
